Ok,
If anyone ever bothers reading this blog besides me, it is obvious I love visuals more than writing. Especially since Ginny turned me on to Smilebox, they make it so much fun and very easy to make a music and photo presentation to record our family fun.
Last week I was overwhelmed at the prospect of packing, driving 15 hours to northern California to my niece's wedding, my parents 61st anniversary and visit siblings and family I haven't seen in years. I also was conflicted because my daughter Amy was due to deliver her fifth daughter on the same day as the wedding. After much dilberation and prayer, I felt peaceful about going to California.
I did, it was great and I loved every minute. I set the cruise control as high as we could get away with (9 miles over the posted limit) and drove 15 hours strait back to Mesa, directly from Susan's to Amy's. Amy was in labor and delivered just 40 minutes after I arrived!
Thank you Claire for waiting for grandma to arrive. It was a wonderful end to a very full week.
Just one week later we were at the McCormick Ranch Train Park to celebrate Alex and Circe's birthdays. It was a Minnie and Mickey Mouse theme with awesome homemade sugar cookies decorated by the guests to take home. Everyone had loads of fun, especially riding the train. Thanks girls for doing such an amazing job at organizing a really fun time!
