This has been a busy month already! On July 4th, Independence Day, Jerry and I went to Amy's and helped finish posters for the T.E.A. (taxed enough already) party in Gilbert. We listened to speeches, spoke with other participants and Jerry joined the NRA!
I will post the Smilebox I made with the photos from that day. Amy, Macey, Elise, Kristen all came. Hailey and Jeff stayed behind. The girls all had posters that they helped make. We had fun talking to them about what the posters were saying and how we feel about the debt this administration is taking on. It is a major impact on all of their lives.
We went back to Amy and Jeff's that evening for bar-b-que and fireworks. The hotdogs and chicken were great along with the baked beans and salad. We talked politics, religion and all those subjects you usually avoid unless you know that those around you have some similar viewpoints.
On Wednesday, July 8th, it was Macey's 10th birthday!!!
It was 7/8/9 and she turned 10! wow. There has to be something cool associated with that kind of number magic. Macey is a beautiful girl inside and out. She has an affinity for her older relatives and is always interested in hearing stories from grandparents and greatgrandparents. She is a wonderful artist and very creative in both drawing and writing stories. She even let her great grandma Joyce borrow a favorite Dragon book so they could talk about it. She is a special young lady.
